The Ventura Keys Association’s pickleball aficionado, Craig Posen, organized a very fun and successful tournament on Saturday, September 21st at Big Beach. We had 6 teams and raised $600. Everyone had a lot of fun and the competition was fierce. We even had spectators!
1st Place: The Kent’s (Vanna & Mike.) They were undefeated at 5 & 0, fighting off a tight overtime match from The Hammer Slammers.
2nd Place: The Hammer Slammers (Kathy & Alan Hammerand) at 4 & 1.
3rd Place: The Grateful Dinks (Craig Posen & Sue Candiff) at 3 & 2.
4th Place: Double Trouble ( Grant & Danniell Leichtfuss) at 2 & 3.
5th Place: PicklePals (John Kennedy & Kathy Mabee) at 1 & 4.
6th Place: The Young Guns (Rocket & Wylan) at 0 & 5.
